Génération Écologie (Ecology Generation) is a centrist ecologist political party founded in 1990 by Brice Lalonde, the then Minister of Environment. The party mainly co-operates with other centrist parties, most notably Parti radical de gauche, with which it formed a coalition named Pôle radical et écologiste in 2011.

The party describes itself as a club with cross-party alliances of green-minded politicians and public servants. Unlike many green parties, which are traditionally associated with the left-wing, Génération écologie presents itself as a centrist ecologist party, despite its early allegiance with the Socialist Party in the 1990s. Génération écologie has cooperated since the 2004 elections with several other movements that share its priorities.
On 2 May 2018, former minister of Ecology Delphine Batho left the Socialist Party and joined Ecology Generation. She was elected as new party president on 10 September 2018.

The flag of GE (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is white, charged with the party logo, which consists of a stylized bird above the party name, inscribed in two rows and conjoined by the initial "E" of word "ECOLOGIE", which also serves as the second letter of word "GENERATION". The bird and the word "ECOLOGIE" are in green and the word "GENERATION" (i.e. its own letters) is in blue. All letters have the uppercase forms, the initials being enlarged in comparison with the others. The logo was adopted in 2010; the letters originally had different shapes, the current ones being attested since 2014, as is the use of logo in the flag. The blue and white color scheme was used in the previous logos (images) as well, which had also included the party name, with different letter shapes but in the same colors as nowadays.
